An unprecedented partnership between The Walt Disney Company and the State of California created “Recycle Rex.” The blue Tyrannosaurus rex became the state’s spokesdinosaur for recycling — the star of an award-winning series of animated TV public service announcements and educational film; leader of the popular RecyCool Club for kids; and featured guest and celebrity co-host at annual Earth Day events across the state.
