LIFE AND DEATH CAN BE LAUGHABLE

By October 28, 2014March 6th, 2021Humility, Longevity

There’s nothing quite like observational humor to give perspective to life’s biggest challenges – health and aging.

For example, Jim Gaffigan confided, “The problem is, I’d have to work out twice a day just to look out of shape.”

Louis C.K. observed that a neighbor’s dog is so old he spends his life “fighting gravity” and “lives in two-second increments — the one he’s in and the one he just left, is all he knows about.”

And Rose Stencel, my mother-in-law, offered this warning, “You better start taking care of yourself or one day you’re going to wake up dead.”
